Tom started making his pop art prints
back in 1999 when he first created
his Tanqueray Olive.

What started out as a self-promotion piece soon became a limited edition that people asked to buy. But, at the time, he didn't embrace the fine arts because he saw himself instead as
a commercial artist.

He later learned the two worlds were intertwined and even the best pop artists such as Warhol, Lichtenstein, Rosenquist and Ruscha juggled both throughout their careers.

So he no longer thinks twice about it. Last year he had his first solo show
on Madison Avenue.

Sponsored by Tanqueray and The
New York Palace, the pop art exhibit
Thomas Arena featured his limited edition and one-of-a-kind prints.

He was also recently honored to be asked to follow James Rosenquist as the next artist to create a piece for
the american team competing in the
international culinary arts competition, Bocuse d'Or.

He is grateful to people in the media, culinary and entertainment arts who were among the first to collect his fine art prints including Idris Elba, Daniel Boulud, Thomas Keller, Roy Grace
and Tony Palladino.
